Our clients tenanted office building was experiencing issues with water ingress due to the age and condition of their existing mastic asphalt roof covering. They were also looking to improve the thermal efficiency of the building and provide a roofing system with a long-term watertight warranty. Due to some areas of complicated low level plant our client was looking for a roofing system that could achieve watertight challenging areas.
NWIR undertook a full roofing survey to access the condition of the current roof build-up. Core sampling confirmed the condition of the roofs and also highlighted that the thermal insulation properties were minimal. NWIR installed a new high performance Liquid Plastics roofing seamless roofing system, incorporating vapour barrier, PIR insulation and the LPL Delta specification to provide 25 year single point warranty.
